To compliment the companies second birthday we have proudly launched a new improved website, but what has changed I hear you ask!

Starting with the homepage we have integrated social media into the website more by including icons at the header and footer of the website to give viewers easier access to our social media profiles. As well as this our latest tweets, live and up to the minute are now displayed for everyone to see without being hidden on another website. Over the past year the types of services we provide has increased and expanded and so we have now listed these clearly on the site.

Our company information is crucial to be displayed and shows visitors, current clients, prospective clients, business partners and agencies more insight into eckhoCreative, what we do, how we do it and why. We now have a more detailed and in depth About Us section, our client testimonials have been updated to include the nice words our clients have said about us, our media page has been updated to include the various ways we have been mentioned in the media and how our work has been displayed in the media. There is now a new partners page to display the types of companies we now work closely with and have been officially partnered with, this is one of our brand new pages and one we are proud of and hope to build and expand in the future.

As always with any design agency our clients are the most important to our business like any other business, so we decided to create a page showing a selection of our clients that we have worked with and continue to work with.

Lastly to bring our portfolio bang up to date we have given this a facelift and added some new technology elements to the page to further enhance our work and show relevant information in a more professional manner.

We are still working on some extra features and pages and these will be launched very soon, take a look at the new site and we would love to hear your comments and feedback.

To celebrate and mark the day a special eckhoCreative cake was designed and made thanks to the staff at a Bristol based cake company, below are some photos taken of the cake.

The following updates and fixes have been carried out:

• All invoices will now show the date paid as well as the date issued for both your records and our records
• Website tracking reports now allows you to view previous year’s results, currently data goes back to January 2009. These tracking reports are real-time and are produced by Google Analytics
• There was a problem with the logout button a few customers have mentioned, this has now been fixed and customers are able to logout the CRM after they have finished
• The invoice template has been updated to include the new company name eckhoMedia and relevant bank details updated
• On the login screen there is now a forgotten password function, if you have forgotten your password you may now reset it using a few simple steps, this allows you to manage your password and gain access whenever

Bristol Pride has been busy making plans ready for Pride Bristol 2011, following the massive success of last years event where they had over 200 volunteers to drive the event forward, there have been lots of useful help and support going on behind the scenes and we are proud to be part of it and help in any way we can.

Bristol Pride 2011 is going to be bigger and better than last year, more volunteers, more visitors, more sponsors and to help with this we will be providing website maintenance, newsletter development and social media management to do all we can to help.

So why the need to change our name you may be asking? The old name was put together about two years ago and as we have expanded and grown felt that the name didn’t fit in with our place in the market, our new name and branding is a lot more professional sounding and will take us well into the future, we wanted to retain the eckho part of the name and a new ending was felt the best option.

Our clients will not experience any change of service or any interruption of service that we provide to them, the rest of the changes will happen behind the scenes and we will do our best to update as and when possible. For the latest news be sure to keep up with our Twitter and Facebook pages.

Next year is already beginning to look busy for us and we have guaranteed work booked in right up until Easter 2011 which is great news for us and for our clients. These links have been replaced with a simple “main site” link to take you to the main eckhoCreative website. Also a twitter latest tweets box has been implemented into the sidebar menu to remind visitors we use twitter and to display the tweets without leaving our site, as well as this to capture more followers and people that like us we have implemented a Facebook like button into the top header area of the blog.

And lastly when you are reading blog posts or informational pages there is now the addition of a like button at the bottom of each post, if you like what we have written you can like it and post to your facebook profile. All we need to do now is update with plenty of informational posts!

• View your Google Analytics details, this allows you to see how many visitors your site has received day-to-day, where visitors have come from, how they have found you, and view the statistics for the current year
• Create, view and update support tickets, for problems with your site, job requests and help we now request that you create a support ticket, this allows us to manage your request more promptly, organised and in a manageable way, you can then see the progress and any updates to the job rather than a lengthy strings of email messages.

This website is also extremely unique for this company as JessiesLittleAngels were the lucky winner of a competition to “Win A Website” that was run during January and February 2010, from hundreds of entrants there could only be one winner and this was JessiesLittleAngels.
