Our relationship with the major social media sites has been somewhat neglected lately as our main focus has been client projects, as we start to wind down for Christmas we can again update and improve our presence. Our facebook page will be updated with all of our latest project work along with company names and links and these will be shared among our friends and followers, we also intend on integrating our website more closely with Facebook to build up our own little community to spread the word and work we do.

Whilst talking about social media this is a great time to talk more about social media and how it can help your business, so what is social media exactly? Social media is gaining popular attention across the world through sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube, but does it actually work? Our blog gets a makeover

Our company blog has recently been given a much needed makeover ready for 2011, our blog is often forgotten about as we are so focused on our clients and projects, so at last we have made the time to give it some attention. So whats new? To start with we have removed the menu bar links that used to go back to our main site, this was confusing and got you into an endless loop which wasn’t good for our professional image!

These links have been replaced with a simple “main site” link to take you to the main eckhoCreative website. Also a twitter latest tweets box has been implemented into the sidebar menu to remind visitors we use twitter and to display the tweets without leaving our site, as well as this to capture more followers and people that like us we have implemented a Facebook like button into the top header area of the blog.

And lastly when you are reading blog posts or informational pages there is now the addition of a like button at the bottom of each post, if you like what we have written you can like it and post to your facebook profile. All we need to do now is update with plenty of informational posts!

Website design is a bit like painting and decorating, you spend all day working for clients, that when you actually get time to work on your own website you don’t have the energy left to do it. Well we have managed to find some time between projects to give our own website an update. We have added alot more content to our site and improved the navigation to make it easier to find what you are looking for, the new site now includes Our Team, Free Quote, In The Media, Services We Offer and updates to the current pages.
